Hello Owls! I came across this page while looking for good places to spread the word about our redesigned website at GoJobs.com.  Part of what we’re looking to do is reach more targeted niche communities, and I think you all may be able to find jobs in your chosen field (film) by hitting this link:

http://gojobs.com/entertainment-jobs.html

Please check out the page and leave some feedback as to what you think.  I really think this can be a good resource for you- thank you for reading, and for checking out our Entertainment Jobs page! I look forward to your feedback soon.

Aug. 16th, 2006 @ 03:18 pm The Adventures of Jose and Shaun CONTINUE! :-)
hey there everybody,

Jose and Shaun had a meeting with Morgan Creek productions that went really well...the meeting went so well they passed Sabumnim to the director of developement. And they got invited as VIP guest to the Jimmy Kimmel Live show on Thursday. They will be chillin' in the green room with all the celebs and they are hangin' out with the band. Ah, the life of a jetsetter.

In a short while, they will be going to a meeting at George Clooney's Smoke house Productions.......so keep your fingers, toes and anything limber crossed!!!

If you wanna help from the comforts of your own homes, you can do so by checking out the Projects section of the Cruz Control Pictures website(www.cruzcontrolpictures.com) or go to YouTube(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G61dzzwoUgs) to view our pitch trailer to "Sabumnim."

"Spread the WORD" is today's phrase of the week on Sesame Street.

We need to show investors that there IS an audience out there for this movie and we need to do it by WORD OF MOUTH. Leave some comments (comments are IMPORTANT it only takes 5 minutes to create a YouTube account) on either Youtube or Myspace (on the Cruz Control Page, http://www.myspace.com/cruzcontolpictures). Investors need to hear your voices in order for this to get funded.

Peace & Love....Cruz Control Pictures or as they say in the Hills, Ciao Bitches!!!

My DVX100A is not properly recording to tape. The image is either distorted beyond belief or else not there at all. I've tried a few different tapes (maxell and panasonic) but nothing works, which make me dread it's the camera.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Hey.

I have my own DVX100A and I'm looking at software. I'm wondering what everyone prefers in PC based programs. I'm on a budget, so I'm getting them at cutthroat prices.

Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5: $199 (Adobe Encore DVD 1.5: and additional $126)
Avid Xpress Pro DV: $295
Sony Vegas 6 + DVD Production Suite: $289

At this point, I'm leaning back and forth between Adobe and Vegas. I've tested earlier versions of Premiere, but never touched Vegas. I've heard great things about it. But I love the looks of Encore DVD... Any advice to point me in the right direction?

Thanks.
